so, as evidenced by my dropping off the face of the planet, I failed. We did not get pregnant when we wanted. So now I am focusing on finding a job after my clerkship is over and planning on IVF. I was thinking in Jan 2012, but may bump that up to near the end of my clerkship since going through retrieval while starting a new job may not be the wisest thing. I will need to talk to A about that, but I think he will be on board.
We are still not preventing, so who knows, maybe nature will take its course and I get knocked up ahead of then, but I like planning for the what ifs.
I have a meeting next week with one of the possible job options. I don't know how I feel about it, but in the end, what is most important is getting a job. Though I can still hope my #1 firm contacts me soon to interview.
